Ravi is a real person. He's my friend, and for almost three years he's been my accountability partner. Every week we sit down, look at what we said we'd do, and are honest about it. The value I get from those sessions is huge.
Then our weeks stopped lining up. We couldn't always make it. So I started experimenting: what if I ran the same kind of session with AI? It turned out to be surprisingly powerful. On its own it's often as good as sitting down with my friend, and having both is best of all.
The real proof was what those small weekly steps added up to. I figured out what I actually want: to become a granddad one day. Not just any granddad. A wise, funny, warm one. That became my North Star.
Once I knew that, my weeks changed:
- I started reading more, with intent and energy, to become a little wiser.
- I started working out and eating better, so I'll have many good years with my grandchildren.
- I started shaping my life to stay positive, which is part of why we moved to Madrid.
- I married the love of my life and we had Nora 🌱, who may one day make me that granddad.
Before this, I was on autopilot. Life was fine, but I wasn't proud of it, and I wasn't working on what I love. These three years I've done far more of what matters to me, with less effort, not more. That's what I want Ravi to do for you.
Oh, and one more thing. Ravi means sun in Sanskrit, which is why he shows up on your screen as a small sun.
